Please someone post a picture of the two piece (hens teeth??) thrust block. and one of the correct earlier tank cap and one of the earlier style high tension wire needed. . I may have a threaded water pump housing but as said that would necessitate a threaded torque tube as well. SO I have some more work to do. I am VERY glad that collectors in the UK are being very particular with originality. A few years ago it seemed to me that any mix and match of bits would do, No longer. Thank you for the assistance. Hope this helps I'm away from home untill next week might have a threaded drive tube kicking around will post more detailed pics when home note plug cap comes in two parts. .....

The thrust block I'm pretty sure is made from bakelite in two half's, I can give you the spec of them.
I cannot see why you can't make them out of a hard black plastic.

Collector/inspector : Please tell me the radius of that cotton spool thrust block. Are those two plastic pieces all that are needed? I will have to make a couple. Does my FV 2089 also need one? ( little fourth minus) Throttle cable routing FVP : Should the cable go round and under the back of the flywheel? or or forward outside the flywheel? Sparking plug cover, two piece : that brown plastic sleeve looks to be hard to find. Does any one have them or one? Are they phenolic impregnated paper? HAPPY NEW YEAR WB

Hi Art

Go into BOARD INDEX direct from here. (top left of the screen)
Look for PRIVATE MESSAGE (top right corner of the screen)

Then look for the user name under G (Gannet)

Then ADD or SELECT

Then type your PM to Jeremy.

Once you've done 1 message, it'll be easier the next time around.
Good luck
Jon

The cable is too long. FVs had one very much shorter.

You have a longer tiller........try moving the throttle forward along it. It will fit better.
