We must be careful, the seller admits to a lack of knowledge but the excessive use of insulation tape has me worried (leaking tank may be). Good call though HA it made me chuckle.

he should try running it in water ,that would be a good start.
hope someone told him before he ruined the engine,we need to save all the seagull we can.
i'm a recent convert to seagulls and its enough to make you cry what some people do to engines .
he said he didnt know anything about outboards but i would have thought he knew they went in water.
