I think you will find that is a 9/32 Model Engineers thread, which is 40TPI 55 degree and major diameter of 0.2812. You should be able to get these from a good Model Engineers supplies.

Seems to be a limit on the number of photos in each post

The clutch lever has been repaired at some time
The tank body is pretty good but the ends need some attention
