I think you will find that is a 9/32 Model Engineers thread, which is 40TPI 55 degree and major diameter of 0.2812. You should be able to get these from a good Model Engineers supplies.

Sorry chaps, I've removed the starting sheave and the plate with "Best Outboard Motor for the World" but cant see anything on the flywheel. At this stage the flywheel is stuck fast on the shaft so have applied plenty of WD40 and will have another go over the weekend using some heat to try and ...

Hi Charles,
Its just that I don't fancy driving down from Auckland in all the holiday traffic on Good Friday, Saturday morning should be a lot easier even if it will be an early start.

I'm in Devonport but work in Mt Eden.

I have recently bought a TC model from the local online auction site Trade Me. I'm not sure that the prop is correct as I think it should have a 3 or 4 bladed prop. See photo below
