Saving Old Seagulls

Having just used my one and only spare Wipac 2 coil on the 1974 Forty series motor that I have, it would be nice to buy in a new pare to be able to use when and if if ever require one?

Was the Wipac coil used on say a motor bike engine and if so what make and years made?

As far as I know it was made for Seagull.

I know that the base plate was, check the picture.

I don't think the that coil was used anywhere else, unlike the Villiers.
