MAC 3hp

Post by jonmac »

Hi Everyone,
I subscribe to a few outboard motor / boat forums and have yet to have a definitive answer in regards to an Aspera MAC 3hp air cooled outboard engine. As an owner of a few Seagull motors, I thought this forum to have a comprehensive group of members and that someone may have a little more information than I have in regards to Aspera motors.
As Aspera Motors had a UK company, would these motors have been made or assembled in the UK or would they have been made/assembled in Torino, Italy. Everything I have looked at so far is either vague or doesn't match my motor. My motor is in really great condition and probably doesn't require anything more than a new coat of paint. It runs very well. I would dearly like to know the history of these motors and the company that manufactured them. . . . jonmac :?:

Have you tried posting on AOMCI.org the ask a member section? Largest forum for antique and vintage motors, over 3000 members plus plenty of lurkers.

Thanks to all. The reason that this question is 'everywhere' is that I really wanted to know! . . . jonmac
