Slipping throttle

Post by Blue Marlin »

Hi,I'm hoping someone can help me with my Silver Century, which I purchased as a non-runner recently. I took her out for a spin on the back of a dinghy and everything was fine except I have to hold the throttle lever in place otherwise it slips back and either slows or stops.Any suggestions, please?

Just tighten the screw in the top of the lever, this increases the resistance and stops it from shutting on its own.

Magic, the forum actually does what it says on the tin!
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
