102 engine block colour

Hi did the 102 ever have the engine block painted,if so what colour was it please.

Mine is black - that's the colour I have always seen, part from rust!

All the standard ones I have ever seen are black, but I have seen other colours but all hand painted by owners... better than rust I suppose!

Well done, i done the same last weekend with a 40 long shaft,very satisfying!!!
