My Century with clutch CPC 247L4 sufferd an salt water immersion last year and I've had trouble with "the sparks" ever since.
I have been given a scrap Silver Century WSP CL 466 EO and I'm wondering wether the flywheel unit would fit my engine.
The opinion of one of you Seagull Sages would be much appreciated!

No, the E refers to May, the month it was manufactured, and the 0 refers to 1970.
The WSPCL is the later engine, and should have Wipac ignition, the HT lead comes out of the side. The Villiers on the earlier untit comes out of the bottom.
This is the reason you have to swap the whole thing - not just the flywheel. The baseplate must also be changed.
