FERRIER 120cc Vintage outboard motor. I believe it is approx 60 years old. Ferrier / Kenneth Long & co. Made in Kent. A very rare and nice looking engine. I bought it off of twostrokenut on this forum. He restored it and he might be able to tell you a little more about it if you ask him. He completely overhauled the head and fitted new marine stainless steel studs and nuts and changed all the gaskets and gear oils and fitted new points. I have only used it once on my inflatable dinghy and had to stop using it immediately as it started leaking from the choke lever; I might have bent it slightly lying it down on the wrong side. I have tried to see if I can buy a new carb for it but not much luck. I think some one more mechanically minded would be able to fix the original carb or Amal in Salisbury would be able to recondition it. It’s probably just a seal. This is a very rare motor that needs a good home, the only one left in the UK that is in good running order so I've been told. I have just moved to a smaller flat with out garden so can not demonstrate it running. I had it running in a tank before I moved. The engine is now on my balcony eight floors up so I must sell it or it will end up being put into storage. Its approx 4hp. Sounds lovely.
Make me an offer, it has to go asap
