No interest in my Ferrier for sale
I’m wondering why nobody is interested in buying my Ferrier outboard. Its 50/60 years old. I’ve been trying to sell it on this forum, see listing in the for sale column. Its restored with new marine stainless steel studs in the head. Only needs a small drip of fuel leaking from the choke leaver sorted out and you would have yourself a lovely engine that has already been restored. I thought it was a very rare engine and people would be interested in it, especially as its British.
Any offers please, it’s got to go as I have nowhere to store it and its on my balcony 8 floors up at the moment. It needs a loving home !

Ah - don't misunderstand me, I wouldn't want to cause any disappointment - I don't have any interest in buying the engine, I was just suggesting that a couple of photographs might help to sell it.
If you continue to have difficulty uploading pictures, maybe you could post in the 'bug report' section ? Or ask a moderator for some guidance as to correct procedure ?
'best, Colin

I'll just stick my oar in.
I use photobucket, create an account with this site. http://photobucket.com/
Then upload photos onto that site, once thats done when you hover the cursor over your selected photo then copy and paste the "IMG code" into your posting here. To check it worked you can select "Preview" and view your posting to check your happy.

Test of the photo upload facility. I think photos have to be less than 225kb?
