help guides

Post by gaffers »

Having had the pleasure of plenty of help on here I understand that some questions posed by newbies like can get repetitive. What about a few stickies in the help section with common torque values and a common list of problems and probable solutions. That may help many without pestering the few oracles on here. I am not talking about breaking copyright on the manual but the stickies could refer those who have more hefty problems can be directed to it and the spares they may need. It's win/win ;-)

The FAQ does, to be fair, answer a lot of questions Between that and the workshop manual most things are covered. It's certainly a good idea to cover torque values, and I'll have a chat with the other Charles to see if he has a listing.

All the other problems, well, there is a bit of a work in progress to address that in terms of a beginners guide. That'll be progressing in the coming months but I have to admit it's slow.
