ATOM IGN copy

Noticed further down a reference to Atom ign modules, They are nolonger produced since 2005. I have rev engineered one & will post the circuit of whats in there. Ive built several units & used one on a 102 Seagull with the Villiers coil. Have also used one on a Tohatsu aircooled 5Hp O/B & a TAS 3hp O/B. On the TAS outboard the ign coil is on the outside of the flywheel, so the conections on the module need to be reversed. Apears my pics are too big. the article Magneto Points Replacement Module.is at http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/showt ... hp?t=47639

Pics of home made Ign module & firing points, at low RPM it fires where the points used to. At higher RPM it advances by about 3Deg.With the Villiers IGN the module is wired in rev. With the Electronic module on any engine if it doesnt work wired one way then try rev wires, it all depends on the type of coil fitted.
