how do u put the petro on on a forty featherweight i try to pull it out but none moved :(

Remove small screw at base and try. Could be non original and too long. Usually they do the opposite and dry up and the cork shrinks which makes them very sloppy. Was it store with fuel in? Photos...we need photos!

not lot of force it turn wee1/4 off are turn round

Be a bit firmer with it. Some are quite tight.
