Villiers carbs

As Villiers carbs were used from the smallest 40 models up to some of the Centuries does anyone know how they were adapted for the different capacities/power outputs ? I expected them to be jetted differently but after looking at the main jets on 13 (!) carbs laying about in my garage the only difference I can find is the old metal float ones are stamped 7J and the later plastic ones 90.
thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
I have never found any reference to, nor found any fitted with other than the standard parts, as listed on the FAQ page. All Seagulls from Feather weight to CPC had the same Villiers carb? No idea how that works.... You would expect a different jet or throttle slide or something, but no!

Happy Seagulling,

Thanks John. I was worried that fitting a carb off a Featherweight to a Century may cause it to run weak and damage the motor.
