I just got hold of an Evinrude 3hp Fastwin, was offered to me through freecycle, spoke to the bloke a year ago, as he was going to do it up and then gave up.
Its not as good as I first thought, even though it was free, skeg missing, one cowling handle broken off and obviously duff coils.
Luckily I have three part motors in a box, I think my parts are late 60's, same decal, this motor is 1960 and what I didn't realise was the subtle change in parts between the years.
Will see if it runs before worrying about its looks.

Thinking that some parts looked slightly different, well I was looking at a Johnson recoil at the time and not an Evinrude one.
I have replaced some parts already, still got to change the gearbox over and set it up to run.

I have one exact to that, long term project. Got new decals for it ready in a box. Yes, another BOX! When will my move ever get settled I do not know.

The main paint colour slightly different as mine from Canadia. More greenish?

Where was yours made? Brass I.D. Plate?

Good luck with it.

Made in Milwaukee I suspect.
The ID looks like brass underneath, I have another newer side panel that is even darker.
