Here is another SD, very overpriced though.
I personally don't like the red and green paint!

That would come up nice taken back to original.
So what do you do with these Hugz? Do you reach out to the seller for more photos & data? That would be a great way to build the database.

Spiro

As a matter of interest SD10100 (red) has found its way to Washington, USA.
I'm three motors short of 30 and when reached will resubmit listing. Jon, your 2 motor details would help. Cheers.

Great work Hugz,
By cull do you mean discard completely? Please don't! Maybe just transfer the data on to a second spreadsheet for incomplete (non-original) outboards.

Spiro

There is also another forum member on Skye, who has a SD, Skyetoyman. He lives at Glendale and used to run the Skye Toy Museum. Not heard from him on here for a long time.
Skyetoyman is still alive but winding down a little. Now retired and gone fishing. Not allowed any heavy lifting so still have ACR and SD. and some nice fishing gear.

Up to 30 now. Left click to expand and then left click again. Trends are beginning to appear ie change of tank saddles, gearbox nipple location, 'L' and 'P' in engine # etc. I'm wondering if the later ones still had the air inflow trumpet or changed to the chokeless cowl.

I would say that later SD's had choke less cowls as the crated one had one (SD9963) and so does mine at (SD10588).
Does anyone know what serial number roughly did SD's finish production, mine appears to be the latest.

Do you have a pic of the crated one that shows a cowl Jacob? I think you maybe correct. The 'D' and 'C' adverts show the cowl and we know BS have a gradual change so it is unlikely the SD range finished with the trumpet.
