I know someone who viewed it, no spark, he held the plug whilst spinning it not even a tickle!

Re: SD 102
I didn't know anyone made new coils or are they forty year old "new" coils ?
Also I have never ever had to put a new set of points in a seagull, ever.
As far as the SD goes, it will be sold to the highest bidder.

Well that went for a LOT more than i was expecting!
The paperwork was quite interesting however, did anyone spot that...
As for coils i shall be trying Hugo's method he posted a little while ago, readily available, quite affordable by comparison, and worth a try i think.

Re: SD 102
Ask HA about fitting those in a JM ignition, I think you were on the Thames the same day Jon, perfect if you want to use the motor for 10 minutes max, then let the ignition cool down for 15.

Re: SD 102
There are a couple of copies of the 44 paperwork owned by members of this site , stapled in the back of this one, was photo copied pages of the 52 component illustrations but without all of the part number pages.
Shame that there was nothing new there.
Perhaps the new owner will register it on the database when he fixes the ignition.

Re: SD 102
Sending my own courier!
The motor almost looks pretty much unused as it has the original plug and cap in good condition.
Label on the clutch lever also shows evidence of it being unused.
I'm sure a expert will tell me if this is right!
Mainly bought it to put beside my 1993 102 so that I can have a new and old 102 side by side!
