Will an amal card work on a forty plus?

Hi

I am fairly new to Seagulls, and have now collect about 5 motors, all with various bits missing. My question today is, will the Amal carb from a 102 fit and work ok on a forty plus?

No it won't fit, but if you make it fit with a collar or something similat it will work after a fashion.

Much better to find a Villiers carb.
