Just had a thought.
Steering wheel pullers are cheap and have 120 degree slots for different diameters of pitch circle.
They pull via the hub in the center. I forgot about using them!
Get high quality bolts and washers same thread.
Getting old man's brain, too many pints.
Regards

Those of you who know me are aware I like to play the part of devils advocate.
Surly from the picture (and I’m no engineer) other will obviously correct me.
The three threaded holes in the flywheel and the recessed dimple in the top of the shaft lend itself to a design for a three stud puller?
unlike Seagull, Anzani obviously liked to change things.
Charles UK I am curious to know about your Anzani twin will be in touch as soon as we get rid of the inspectors at work.
Tipicaly me started this responce last night must get broard band

How about some pictures?
Re: its not a seagull....but thought i'd try
I got one of these to i'm restoring, gone all blingy on it. Just as a racing rep to go onto the racing rep boat i'm still to finish off. Badly in need of a fly wheel as the last owner tried to remove it with a blow torch and an air hatchet because of the reason this thread was started. Electrex world have been very helpful in supplying me with an internal flywheel which i'm going to try and make an external type coil plate round. Try them or west country windings for replacment ign bits and advice. Anyone knows where i could pick up a std fly wheel let me know, cheers and merry christmas all!!!

Another very nice one. Bet it goes well once finished.
Is the flywheel common to any other engine? The Wipac backplate certainly is. It was used on various american engines in different guises.
