I realise there is a comprehensive list of nuts and bolts sizes etc on site. I may have missed what I’m enquiring about.
I’m re assembling my forty plus after completing restoration. Stupid me lost one of the two brass nuts that fix the propeller shaft housing to the engine block. After a lot of robust language, nearly pulling my Workshop apart it’s gone.
Would some kind sole tell me the correct size, I am presuming a Whitworth thread. Is it a qtr inch brass?

It would help whoever answers your question if we knew which model & exactly which nuts you want (photo & serial number).

When you reply to a post, just below and to the left of the submit button is a tab marked "Attachments" click on it and there is a "Add files" button. You can use that to add photos.
