Gasoline filter

I am new to the forum . Own a forty plus seagull made in august 72.
While getting the engine to run I experienced a fuel line blockage in the elbow between fuel tap and tank.
So crudded up couldn't clear instead removed...have secured new filters

Has anyone installed these before? Would you mind sharing your procedure with me ?

Not sure if you are talking about putting a filter on the fuel tap? If you are this clip may be of some help.

There are instructions as to cleaning of Seagull fuel system on SOS FAQ.

When cleaned a Seagull tank and tap to carb plus line is easily maintained.
