What a cracking job. Where did you get your spares? I am about to embark on a similar project, any information that you might be prepared to give, I would be grateful for. All the best. Malcolm Rose.
The anzani was a £26 Ebay job witch was about all i wanted to pay for it.
They are a very easy motor to work on and well made, the good thing about it is you can spin it around 180 for reverse and it i so quiet, the one thing i have notest is that it seems to be very under powerd at 1.5HP. Compared to my FVP which i think is about 2-2.5HP and goes very very well, but the pilot seems not to rev that high, it could be the carb not set right, i will have to have a look one day when it stops raining if it ever will.
Any parts you need i will keep a look out for, just give me a shout.
Also have a seabee with pistion rusted in the bore, but so far pistion unseized from bore, looks ok, fitted new crank bearings and seals and started painting the engine today and in about a week or so i will be trying to start it.
