Hello everyone.
Someone is trying ¨to sell me a Seagull, I have not seen it or pics of it.
They clame the number to be 2244EO, and I don't seeme to be able to find out, what that means.
Hoping !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have heard of strangely numbered Gulls but I think you may find there should be some letters before the number you have been given ( maybe above? ) and crucially they denote the model, I would ask them to check again then check out the 'ID your seagull' section of the main site.
I have asked them several times to look for some letters, the answer is, there are none, it is unfotunitly at a place far from me, and they don't have a digital camera.
I have had several Seagulls and I know how to find the prod.date.
Thank's for the answer.
The litttle old lady has called me and told that there is a W above the numbers, but she thought that it was a picto of a tower. So I will look it op again.
Yes unfortunitly, I had hoped for a smaller and older one, I had to buy it to get something else for my RS 8 metal lathe. Some router equipment.
hope my english is understandebel. I have pictures of my 102 beeing fixed, on my site

I have got my new motor, it is a very fine motor only it is totally dismantled, the cast iron is caput due to frost I think, and I don't know how much is missing. No Hurrays to day, i will try to sell it as parts. Or throw it away. fortunitly the things I really wanted were OK.
There are not many Seagulls here in Denmark, så used spares are hard to come by. To get some from abroad is costly in transportation, and the motor is not a selden one. And I don't think I can find the time.
Any suggestions ? Keep it in the adict ?
I really think it all there , but the ruined cylinder ?
Keep it for spares. You never know in the future what motors you might come across and need parts for. I have a few motors that I keep for future donor reasons. The four bolter blocks are becoming very hard to source.
