I've been on "Light Duty" here at work, (can't lift more than 10#, waiting on hernia surgery), so I've had time to;
1. Clean my desk up and drawers
2. straighten my tool box
3. Walk @ A-LOT!
So I came up with the idea....
"I'll bring the Sea Gull in and paint it up nicey, nice"! I can sit on a stool and spray it here rather then heat up the shop at home and it'll make these LLOONNGG work days pass.
(This is one of the good things of being the sole man in the maintenance department, I can do this AND get away with it)!!
It didn't come out bad, used
"Chrome paint", on the pull starter and prop, (just to give it some class)!
Now, all I need is to get "fixed" and the winter to end to try it in my Glen L 15' sailboat!!

What the hell happened there Keith?

I can remember about 10 years ago when i broke my left foot. Trying to drive a manual shift car straight after this episode was an experience i can tell you not to mention extremely painfull.

Looks good now Joe. Are you pleased with your efforts. I think i would be if it were mine.

Nice needle work Keith My mother used to do embroidery, not as neat as that though... Should have it framed!

yikes !
Those stitches beat me hands down!
Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it.
Not too many B.S.G., @ here, so I HAVE to make it look good to up hold brand!!
The P.O. stated it wasn't run for a LONG time, but did when way back when.
Cleaned carb, new fuel line (ahhh, pipe?), new plug wiped out tank with rag.
Some 20:1 gas and 4 pulls and poof it filled the shop up with smoke!
A trip to the car wash to clean and 3 days at work.
Nice to get paid to "pretty up" my addictions!
If only they had a garage to re paint my boat................
