Zodiac used Hypalon for their tubes. It is the best material available and will last for years. My Avon, same material, was 25 years old when sold with my yacht,

As for cleaner, I don't think I would use industrial thinner.. may be ok and if splashed on shouldn't cause damage but its what you don't see.. degradation of the material may be.

Check out any boat chandlers, they will stock the correct products that will guarantee no damage. Might not remove all stains but its not a new boat and a weathered look is not all bad.

Agreed A-J
A little weather beaten (just like me  ) is not such a bad thing. After all, this little boat is as old as i am.
There's bound to be something out there that will clean the material without any degredation of the hypalon.

To be honest, i havn't looked yet as there's no rush.
I'll let you know when i've found something suitable.
