For avoiding corrosion

Hi guys!
i'm Alessandro, a new member from Italy...
In my fourthy there insn't any side for anode avoiding corrosion.
Usually how do you solve the problem?

Seagulls don't have an anode.

I flush mine out in fresh water after every run and give it a spray with lubricating oil and wipe it down.
My main outboard i use is 66 years old

Also, DONT leave them in the down position with the leg in the water if you are not actually using the boat. (best stored vertically ashore though) If you are likely to be running daily in salt water, you could add a small button anode on the side of the skeg, but for the usual occasional use its not needed.
