FNR

Post by Waggles »

I know this is a long shot but before I go for a 102 / Century+ has anyone got an FNR (long shaft) they are willing to part with? I know they appear to be as rare as rocking horse droppings but you never know! Just seen a nice one on the bay that would have been perfect but it is standard shaft!

Ideally I would like one in as good condition as poss and am willing to pay premium price for a rebuilt one but will consider anything that isn't actually scrap.

Update:

I have managed to get hold of an EFNR :D the bad news is it is short shaft and needs work :( but beggars can't be choosers!

Would still be interested in a rebuilt longshaft example but now am looking for parts too. Particularly need bits to convert to longshaft and a good condition tank but any parts carb etc would be most welcome.

Waggles - just sent you a pm regarding a Model 90, which hasn't cleared the outbox as yet - please post another message if not received.

EFNR parts

Further update, have now taken delivery of a very nice longshaft EFNR ( thanks Rick, she's a beaut! ) so no longer need the whole motor but still plan on renovating the standard shaft one. I particularly need a good condition metal fuel tank and drive shaft tube.
