Adjusting points

Hi folks,

New to the forum. I currently have 3 old seagulls, one running 2 which aren't. My most recent purchase isn't generating a spark, the plug is fine as I've tested it on my other engine so I've cleaned the points and now trying to adjust them but when I turn the adjustment screw, rather than the points gap getting larger and smaller the whole unit just moves along the slot of the securing bolt. System is a Wipac mkII.

Any thoughts?

No worries- I reconnected the spark plug cover and off she went? So chuffed. Photo of the flock to come
