Sealed gearboxes

Post by THCL500J8 »

Which if any seagull gearboxes are sealed.
Im told the Model 75 clutched gearbox with weedless propellor, were sealed.

And most of the QB boxes as well.

Is this so?

What im thinking is 102 block, 418 25:1 carb and later weedless gearbox and long range tank and i should have a use daily seagull ?

All QB boxes are sealed, as is the 2.5 : 1 clutched late model, model 75 & FPC box & for 2 short periods of time, some of the featherweights.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

So are the FNR boxes. Then you would have reverse as well. Good luck in finding one. Mine is firmly attached to my motor

Wonder if my ED has a sealed box?

oooh 102 "BITSA/HYBRID"
I like the sound of that!

What's your idea behind this? (i'm intrigued)
It might be a tad down on power for the gearbox you propose using.
