Best Service Repair Manual

Post by sierramuir »

I just purchased a 4.5 hp CPC Seagull that was made in 1964. It has no spark and possibly some other things that will have to be worked out. Would anyone have any suggestions on a good repair manual that is available online. Thank You

The best one is undoubtedly the official British Seagull Service Manual. Still in print, still available, covering most of the range. they are at:

http://www.britishseagull.co.uk/

And I'd be surprised of John couldn't supply one, his e-mail is:

john@saving-old-seagulls.co.uk

More importantly, there is a wealth of informationon the main web site, which is having difficulties at the moment, but will doubtless be back soon.

Apart from the official manual, there is a very hard to find Clymer manual dealing with Seagulls, which is quite good, and there is a quite lengthy tome by Don Meyer. My favourite is the official one.

Good luck
