leaking cylinderhead

Post by albert »

Hello,

Last week, I got a new gasket from John.
This weekend I replaced the head with that new one and believe it or not all the problems are over now. No steam, no water leakage..
I did not use liquid gasket this time.

Thanks for all the ideas,

Happy Seagulling!

Had to replace a barrel on my silver century a few years ago due to it being cracked from rust, I reused the old head gasket and it did leak a little bit at first but then stopped leaking and never has since. I never used any sealant.
