Spanner size

Post by NeilMathewson »

I have got Whitworth and Metric spanners, but they do not seem to fit the nuts on my Forty Plus, (although some are a bit rusty)!!
Should I invest in a set of A/F ?

My Whitworth spanners fit OK

My spanners are old and well used so a bit on the slack side really.

My nuts are not rusty!

All fasteners are imperial - ie. BSF/Whitworth. Only the very last Seagulls (QB's) had some metric sizes in the mix.
