A nice looking Merc 400, Even though I don't think its as old as its trying to look.

She is in fact a 50 hp blueband dressed in chrome clothing the other one is a 3.9

Thought so, the top cover was the give away, plus the colour, I only noticed as I have a 1964 44cu 500 thunderbolt lying about, so you get to know these things.

The 3.9 is now on the back of a 60's microplas micro boat that I just finished restoring.

I think I have see that boat somewhere before, my motor is sitting a 1965 15ft something, I've never worked out what make boat it is.

Petula Clark, well I could say it was before my time, but I can't, but the boat show was.
A little SeaBee on the back, so a little over powered With the Merc then.

Definitely an upgrade from a zimmer frame, very impressive woodwork, I would have put a plate behind the thumb screws to stop them digging in, still nicely done.
The best I have done is to convert an engine stand into an outboard stand and its on wheels.

Don't worry if I do use the seagull it will be going on the boat in page 2 "Old's Cool" she is more of a slipper than a clog The shaft is too long for the microboat so I'll leave the little merc on that.
