Haven't figured out how to embed videos here.

I got impatient and started the engine before my rain bucket filled past the exhaust.
I ran it for 30 seconds or so. Just long enough to document the event.

I did get a vid of it frothing 30 gallons, but it's difficult to hang onto an outboard (with 11"prop!) with one hand and a cell phone with the other!

There is one leak left for me to plug but I'm very happy with the engine. Cleaned and set the points and POW! Beautiful fat blue spark!
Not like the Lucas Electric ignitions I battled with as a youngster. :|

As I understand, the reason you all drink warm beer is because of Lucas Electric refrigerators.

My next British Seagull video will likely be of my new friend powering my 20' Celebrity Class through Greenwood Lake (assuming it holds water out as well as it held water in for 20 years!).
The boat is its own epic saga...to be continued!

If you go to the reservoir you may run into my friend Peter F. putting around with one of his antique outboards.

Hi, I have sent you a PM (check your messages) my friend Peter F. said to give you his phone number in case you might like to meet at the reservoir. He was planning on going up there today.

Wow! Thank you Phil!
I'll definitely call. Sounds like a very interesting gentleman.

Here's where I was today though. Up at 4:00am and didn't get back 'till 5:30pm.
