I borrowed the boat from Raoul Leyland from Taupo in NZ, the fastest speed I measured was 50.7 Kph just after Hamilton on the Waikato river, but this won't be a true speed as there will be some river flow assistance.

I'd guess the real speed at close to 30 Mph, though Ross Leger broke my record last year by 9 seconds using a 170 with an expansion pipe, so the Burt Munro title must belong to him!
