Someone has upset the chap. Wasn't me!

He says:

'Update: After loads of emails, including a seagull orientated usernamed knowall who informs me its only worth around tenner, one kind gentleman has advised it is a SD type, made just after the Marston model. The low serial number puts its date of manufacture at around 1942 with a copper domed top, and brass clutch lever.'

No one seems to want to own up.

Quote "including a seagull orientated usernamed knowall "

Someone called Larry Day would be my prime suspect !! :?:

I reckon we all have our prime suspects. I have been mulling over in my mind a sort of Christmas competition based on a whodunnit...

After all, if the Madeleine McCann case can generate more interest on web fora than Princess Diana's death, Football, and Big Brother, it seems we may whip up a small frenzy of conspiracy theory on this board!

No? Ok, then

i noticed that a business called mossesgulls was for sale on ebay, i was tempted to bid but don't really know enough about outboards, two strokes fine but not the prop/boat bit, any way the vendor had a seagull orientated username, i assumed it was he trying to be helpfull and thought bugger it after having his nose put out of joint. i saw the SD too, navy one, but thought better of it because of the barage of complaint about paint and oil on kitchen floor, worktops, and carpets and the like. from my now 'A1' efpwl. i wish iknew a bit more about propeller design. why some have more blades than others for example, anyone care to educate me? ta chris
