Thinking of you...

Post by TCWest »

I'm reading of a tidal flood that might be smashing into the east coast a little north of most of the guys here, and hoping that the warnings were heeded and that you and yours found high ground before the waters came in. I think it's right about now. 4:00am by me is your 9:00am, right?
Take care, and post if you made it. Otherwise, you'll be presumed lost at sea, and Johnny's gonna take your 'gulls and part them out.
You've been warned. :D
Seriously...stay dry, men. This is as close to a tsunami as you can get without an earthquake.

Came close but the surge didn't quite overtop the sea defences so no major flooding or damage and no lives lost.. Mind, a few foolhardy souls went surfing and had to be rescued.

Also here in Holland nothing seriously went wrong. The wind was nothing more than a full 9 to 10 at sea. Our good old dikes could hold it.

So, no Gulls or parts for free!
