Hi guys,
Have a look at those two cylinders. Ports are different. The one with the bigger ports could produce more power?

Stelious you have to compare like for like, not a century with a silver century, I can't remember the figures now but there are probably more than 10 different cylinders for the century family.

Yes, those two cylinders are from centuries, can be only used both with a villiers carb.

Sorry yes your right, there are 4 or 5 of those, I've only built one of those for racing & I made it a twin cab one. With the high inlet cylinder, where I felt the port time areas were more favorable.
A la Raoul Lealand who came up with the idea.

Well you have started it Stelios, you have 2 different types of Century cylinder.
Picture taken from crankcase side, exhaust port at top.
Here is type 3
Anyone else got a different one?
This is Century not Century Plus, carb stub on the Starboard side.

What for?
If it's for that 5R you will need an 8" pitch one, that has been pitched up, but the 5R should have a splined propshaft.

I am just making some fun but in the back side of my mind I have a plan to tweak a silver century.
The 5R is not in the back side of my mind yet.
