Thats an ATCO Alright. 1940s 80cc 2T Villiers Lawnmower engine. I think they called them Impellers instead of an outboard motor. But dont quote me on that.

Theres a good one sitting on display at the brisbane maritime museum.

Atco Model 79 boat impeller manufactured between 1948 & 1960.

0.6 bhp at 1400 revs, 79cc,

They made 4 different models.

I have a couple of these that I use to impress the girls with how cool I am.

Yes I am single!

Everything doable, except thrust bearing located in the middle of the long tail.

A Bit Pricey aye.

The really BIG ones are like the "Swinging Propellor Of Death".............and when trying to carry them, SO many sharp bits!

They have their place however.
