Prop Identification

Post by JERSEYMAN »

Hello all, I wonder if anyone could help to identify which model seagulls these props belong to, I have no idea :(
Thank you, Rene

The 1st pic (the top one) is of a AD-102. I have never seen a prop like the other one B4. I dont think its for a seagull. One of our 2 charles (uk or sp)would be able to tell you.

Top one is the "Bow-tie" prop introduced in the late 1940s. This replace the "swept" SD prop, and was introduced when the "Straight out the back" exhaust was replaced by the "Sub-ejector" I can imagine somebody sitting in their office, smoking a pipe dreaming up these names 8)

The lower prop is not seagull. Could it be of an OMC engine? I don't own any of those, but Keith P or H-A might be able to tell you.

The Bow-tie prop looks a little worn, I dont know if that's the right length for one, as I don't have one that style.
The other one looks to be more of an OMC style prop, but its pretty hard to tell what it came from.
