We were offered 8 legs of venison at the week - end for £50 but I thought it was too dear.

then I get it machined and the hard part begins, this is at the rough blank stage . thats a standard prop for comparison . I'd try and explain all the theory on prop design , but it's volumes and I don't have the time to give you my thoughts or copy and paste other authors text that you won't have the energy to read or probably understand ! just a gentle dig , God you Brits are easily offended lol . I'm happy to answer questions from the floor from the usual suspects  All other people will be treated with respect :D

Nice prop! A lot of man hours go into making that just so I suspect. Once cast how do you machine it? I'm an ex toolmaker, so quite interested.

No brits offended dear boy, Problem appears to have been dealt with :D

mill the top face , drill a hole, insert a rod with a tapered end and by holding the rod you can work on the "front side" of the prop . then there is just enough room for the jaws to reverse grab to clear out the area where the spring sits .

That prop looks superb. I am actually jealous, what with that and the cute startder rope toggle.

Surely there's nothing else you can add to your denhanced 102? Or is there more in the pipeline?

Cup holder? Ashtray? Lightning conductor?

Did you find decorative HT lead?

Charles  A Cup holder is a very good idea or what about a teasmaid ? That would be really cool A heat exchanger off the water outlet and a steam whistle . lemon slicer of some form ?
. I found a NZ stockest of the ht leads you mentioned and have been in contact , just have other priorities at this time but it will be done , with work , making props , testing and rebuilding motors for the race and trying to sell a couple of motors , plus I'm trying to get some chilli dog merchandise ready and make copper fuel lines which is proving a trick .The other addition I was thinking of making was a bullshit detector , but in hind sight it's not necessary as I can see the source of it already . But I guess they aren't doing anybody any harm and is a source of amusement and entertainment .May be some one could fuel a seagull on bullshit with a biogas conversion kit instillation . A task for Charlie perhaps , some have said he is full of it !
Yes an ignigtion coil will be redundant bullet  when I fit a Flux capacitor http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Back-to-the-F ... 5d35e75d39

then time travel will be mine !
