Looks like I am going the hard yards with this.

I am even going to paint the tiller handle black :roll:

See the pic? The drive tube is only painted chrome so now not good enough for how the wee motor is evolving.

I would need a drive tube in really good chromed finish if someone could help. It would have to be outstanding to match an unbelievable exhaust tube I have.

Hope someone can help

If the surface finish is that bad Bruce it's not a big job to have one remanufactured, just instruct them to polish the thread & the crankcase clamp area to the absolute minimum, I can't remember the thickness of the tube wall, 12 or 14 gauge x 1 1/8".
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

It really the most nasty thing of the motor. If one does not turn up original I will have a new one made.

Still time in hand, no rush yet.
