Villiers jet numbering or size

Post by 1650bullet »

I have 2 villiers carb jets that have different numbers on them. On the top face of the jet (The part were the carb slide sits and were the jet needle goes threw) One number reads M8J and the other reads M9O Which one is the seagull jet.

M9O in both my Seagulls

R8J in the lawnmower , Villiers Mk 2 Midget.( should be M7J according to the parts list.)

M8J is listed for the Mk 3 Midget

Any idea what the differences are?

M8&7J are both found in seagulls too. So no answer except what's runs the best. Cut and try.
Cheers Rolf.
