Good tip for proof reading is to read backwards so nothing makes sense and your mind doesn't automatically think its correct.

It doesn't make sense either way sometimes.
Seriously though, that's a good tip, and funny
I went out for a sail today and the motor was performing quite well going from and back to the slip. I haven't leaned it out at all (I forgot)
But I might try a half turn and see how it goes. The only thing different was that it took 2 pulls to start rather than the usual one.
Other wise it ran fast and slow quite nicely. I suspect the combination of a dirty carb and the wrong ^%$&^%$&^ needle was my problem.I'll keep an eye on it though
