Good evening,
My name is ERIC and I live in France, I am 48 years old and sorry but my English is very very bad....
I found an English motor boat, a ANZANI super single, but the carburetor is absent.....
The pipe is 22 mm in diameter.
What was the type of carburetor of origin, a AMAL carburetor, but which one?
I think it takes an Amal 46N Carburettor, the main jet is a 30 and Pilot jet is a 15.
The flywheel on your one doesn't look original, its not a very collectable motor and the carb may cost you more than the motor's worth, even though I do have one of these motors myself.
Your motor is a long shaft which gets in the way a bit but never mind.
Amal carb for your motor is type 32. These were used on motorcycles up to early 60s and should be an easy purchase Ebay. Just make sure that the seller says for a two stroke and you will be fine. There are adapters for spiggot size listed as well.
Example this one and you get a reducer seperately if needed or make one to suit yourself?
If you find one, just install and run with it! That easy!
16:1 mix
Yes, Amal 46N is an option that was for UK then, best of luck getting one with spiggot size so above or............available your local would be........
Else, any Zenith MXZ18 complete carb will do. Make sure that you can get these parts with a body..........
Slow Run Jet #32
Main Jet #88
Emulsion Tube #017135
Starter Slide Slow #65
Max outlet #200
Maybe not collectable for BS people but something to have a lot of fun with Mate!
