A clean seagull, maybe not as new as it looks.
Things like a repainted prop and the corrosion at the top of the exhaust, you get after heat and use, on the drive shaft side.
Maybe nice and clean, but new means never been unused, I don't think so.

A few new ones have been popping up recently with exorbitant price tags... wonder if any sold?

Top of the tank is quite scratched. Looks like it has been stored with stuff packed on top of it.

Astonishing the regularity with which these crop up, always new, mint, never used, etc etc.

So new the fuel cock has disappeared...

And oil running out of the exhaust tube....

Tank decals looked a bit tatty for a new item, even bad storage wouldn't do this surely. Some of the guys can refurbish seized engines to look like, or even better, than this. Do they have rogues in Tasmania? Wouldn't get a guy trying that in Scotland???

Surely to save a few quid
I think there's probably rouges everywhere. It would be interesting to take a close look at it.
