Unknown Engine Numbers?

Post by JERSEYMAN »

Hello Everyone,
I have just picked up two 102's but I cannot make out the engine numbers and wonder if anyone could help as I like to keep track of what I have, models/years etc.

The numbers are clearly stamped so no mistakes but they don't make sense, they are:

TCL
421 R6

and

TC
142 W0

From what I can make out, the TC models did not come with such low engine numbers, so I cannot make out what year they are.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Many Thanks, Rene.

I have also just picked up an engine with the following number TCO 514 R7
John Williams informed me that it is a 102 long shaft, the R7 refers to it's rebuild date at the factory.
Hope this is of some use.

Regards

Some numbers, just don't work, TCL 514 R7, So its a TC 102, a long shaft?
The R could be Reconditioned/Refurbished if so it would have been re-stamped.
A picture may help in getting a rough date.
