An odd TC

Post by SimonT »

Hi All,
I made wee impulse buy and picked up a TC what attracted me to it was the tank and fuel cap
after getting it home i also noticed that the transom bracket is fully brass with odd thumb screws
im guessing that the two items are off an older moter does anyone have any idea what ??

Thanks

Either an AC or an AD would have had that tank, tank straps, tiller arm, filler cap, and transom bracket. Let us know the serial; and perhaps a photo of the bottom end etc.

Those tanks and that transom bracket are scarce. So are the broad tank straps.

Thanks Charles,
The tank straps appear to be homemade.
The serial is TC78026

I have attached a couple of photos of the botom end
Cheers

Early front gearbox cap, too. It's probably the result of two 102s, the transom bracket alone would fetch good money over here.
