Hi, I have a silver century long shaft with an amal carb it starts up easy runs as smooth as silk with the choke in and even after 15 mins or so if you take the choke off once you get to about half throttle it starts to die. Put the choke back on and its fine?
Anyone got any ideas????
Thanx for looking.

Hi Nomad.
Check your jets aren't blocked, Have a squirt of carburettor cleaner though them, maybe even a poke around with a bit of thin copper wire - nothing harder than copper.
Check the float is in the right position on he needle.
Check the filter on the banjo and the one on the fuel tap.
And lastly - are you running at the right petrol/oil mixture?
