I’m currently restoring my ’73 WSP; more a cosmetic overhaul and new paint than an internal restoration since the latter, after giving it a complete inspection, is in excellent condition.
Other than worn journals (which are not the case on this engine) is their any reason not to change the jet in order to allow using a 25:1 fuel mixture?
I don’t know about the rest of you living in northern climates, but I can’t wait to get my boat finished and be back on the ocean in a few weeks.
Cheers….

Thanks for the information John.
I thought that was the case, but wanted confirmation. I did not bother changing jets in my other two recent acquisitions/restorations since both are static engines and may be operated only occasionally at local antique engine shows held throughout the summer, however this engine will be the working engine on my boat.
I’ll check with Sean in San Francisco first for the parts. On your recommendation, I’ve dealt with him for several months now, he's an excellent person to deal with and a relatively close source of parts (only 800 miles to the south of Vancouver).
